This is Victor. Don’t worry, he’s always this happy. Fortunately, he’s also turning xx years old (age withheld to protect identity). Victor’s also my brother-in-law but don’t hold that against him. We are celebrating his birthday this evening with everyone at the house. As usual, it’s a little loud, chaotic, and of course, fun!
She really likes the news. Really. When they showed the clip of President Obama, she said “Pezatent Obaamma”. And she’s only 2 and a half.
There are many times in life that you have to stop. There are many distractions – gadgets, work, schedules, social networks. But, take a moment and just stop. Do it now (after you’re done reading this, of course).
Take notice of where you are heading. What decisions are you making that are impacting your life now? What decisions are you making that are opening doors for you? For others? Which of those decisions are closing doors? Don’t think in the now – think long term of the impact that one decision can have.
Take a look at the direction you are heading and decide now if that is the direction that you should be heading.
