I’m always amazed at macro shots of insects. Sure, flowers and inanimate objects are also quite cool, but they don’t move! This inspired me to try my hand with trying to take a few shots of insects. The most difficult is getting them in the “sweet spot” of the lens without moving quickly and having them think it is a predator after them.
There are always several dragonflies that come buzzing by while on the boat, hang out on the boat… hang out on the end of your fishing pole!… so I thought it wouldn’t be that hard to get too close to one. As it turns out, it was a lot harder than I thought!
