While traveling with my good friend Rich, we stumbled upon a few nooks and crannies… what we thought was going to be a dead-end, wasn’t… Take a quick look at his rendition as well.
I spent quite a bit of time with this image in Photoshop, onOne, Photomatix and Lighroom to get what I was seeing through my eyes and in my head while we were on location. I believe this is a fair representation of both what I was seeing and what I wanted to see … if that makes sense…
While I was in Philadelphia last week, I didn’t have much time to take photos other than walking to and from my destination and the train station. Overall, it was a beautiful day, but it did have some ominous looking clouds towards the end of the day. Luckily, no rain on Rob 🙂 If you were wondering where this actually was, it was right about here. This was the first photo that I’ve processed using Nik’s HDR Efex. I’ve been finding that it does a wonderful job when there isn’t ghosting in the source images caused from movement in the frame (people, trees, clouds, etc.). But this was my first day and photo, so I might be just needing some pointers on that… What do you think – is the image color flat?
It’s a beautiful day here in the Mid-Atlantic… 4 inches of beautiful rain. Which reminds me of how awesome it is everywhere else – especially New Zealand 🙂
Today’s Top Pick is from Eden Brackstone. He has some great shots but this one which was taken recently, caught my eye.
I think this one looks pretty awesome on black. Make sure you check out the rest of Eden’s work and follow him on Twitter. The picture is taken here. I really gotta get there. I mean, where else can you see this kind of landscape.
You can see last week’s here.
